Terms of service
Draft for client review — last updated 29 August 2026.
These terms apply when you book a service through the Dr. Depannage website or app operated by Dr. Depannage Ltd. By booking you agree to them.
1. Bookings
A booking is a request. It is confirmed when our dispatcher assigns a technician and you see the status “assigned” or “confirmed”. We may decline or reschedule a booking, for example if the job is outside our service areas or no qualified technician is available; we will tell you in the app.
2. Prices and payment
Each service has a call-out fee shown before you book. It covers the visit and diagnosis. Labour, materials and transport are itemised by the technician when the work is completed and shown in your booking. Payment is in cash to the technician on completion. Prices include VAT where applicable.
3. Cancellations
You can cancel free of charge while a booking is pending or assigned. Once the technician is on the way or on site, the call-out fee is due.
4. Access and safety
Please make sure an adult is present, the work area is accessible, and pets are secured. Tell us in the description about anything hazardous (asbestos, live wiring you are aware of, unstable structures).
5. Guarantee
Workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days from completion. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Report an issue through the booking or by contacting us and we will send a technician back at no call-out charge if the fault relates to our work.
6. Liability
We are responsible for damage caused by our technicians’ negligence. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage caused by materials you supplied, or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Mauritian law.
7. Your account
Keep your password private and your phone number up to date — the technician uses it to reach you. We may suspend accounts used abusively.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions: hello@drdepannage.mu. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius.
