Privacy policy

Who we are. Dr. Depannage Ltd (“Dr. Depannage”, “we”) operates the Dr. Depannage website and app. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number and password (stored hashed).
• Booking details: service, address, description of the problem, photos you upload, preferred date and slot, and the status history of each job.
• Reviews: star rating, comment and optional photos.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Why we use it

• To dispatch a technician to your address and let them contact you about the job.
• To send booking confirmations and status updates by email and in the app.
• To keep a record of work done and payments made in cash, including for invoices and disputes.
• To improve our services and technician quality using ratings and job history.

Who sees it

The technician assigned to your job sees your name, phone number, address and the details of that booking only. Our dispatch team sees all bookings. We use hosting and email providers in the European Union and United States (Supabase, Vercel, Resend) who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. Booking and invoice records are kept for 5 years for accounting purposes. You can delete your account by contacting us; we will remove personal data that we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you may complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius. Contact us at hello@drdepannage.mu.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the site. There are no advertising cookies.
